Hua Hin

Hua Hin is a royal resort town in the northern part of the Malay Peninsula at the Gulf of Thailand, some 220 km south of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. It has a population of about 85,000 in an area of 900 km squared, and is one of eight districts of the Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

Seasons

Dry season
The dry season is from November-February. The average temperature in this season is 25-26 degrees centigrade. The weather is sunny, but the sun is not as strong as later in the year. Tides are high and it can get windy in the afternoons, it very seldomly rains in this period.

Hot season
The "hot" season lasts from March-June. An average of 29 degrees centigrade is no exception, and daytime temperatures can rise to 35 degrees+. The nights are hot and it is more humid in this period. In the afternoon it can get windy. In the month of June, it is not unusual to get some afternoon showers, that will generally take not longer than an hour or so.

Wet season
The "rainy" season starts in July and ends in October. Hua Hin, however, does not get as much rain as the north and south of Thailand get. Temperatures can be expected to be at an average of 28 degrees centigrade with cooler evenings than in the hot season. Mornings can be cloudy, although most days brighten up and become hot and humid, some days there is a short refreshing shower in the afternoon.

1 - At the junction, turn onto Chom Sin Road (Soi 55). Cross the railway line.
2 - Take the first right (onto Route 3218)
3 - Follow this road, that turns sharply to the left after 200 meter, for 8km
4 –After you pass over a small bridge, take the second road to the left.
5- Follow this road, which bends to the left, and after 200-300 meter Akamai Village is on your left.
